Thai Yoga Bodywork
With Jamie
What is Thai Yoga Bodywork?
Thai Yoga Bodywork has been an ancient healing tradition from Thailand for over 2000 years. As a branch of Traditional Thai Medicine, Thai massage is a specialty that works in harmony with elements found in nature using physical touch and energy. Therapists actively combine rhythmic massage, assisted yoga poses, acupressure, energy work, and breathing meditation to release blocked channels in the body, stimulate flow of healing energy, and remove toxins. This comprehensive treatment helps balance the body energetically, leaving the recipient relaxed and rejuvenated.
What to Expect
During this unique bodywork session, you will wear comfortable clothing and lie down on a soft, thick floor mat. Jamie will guide you through a series of postures while massaging muscles along pressure points and energy lines, without a need for oils or lotions. He will use various parts of his body for gentle pressure and passive stretching, as well. Jamie recommends eating lightly prior to your session and hydrating after.
